Emons is expanding its presence into the USA. With retroactive effect to January 1, 2021, the majority stake in the company Global Fairways, LLC. is renamed to Emons Air & Sea LLC.. Around 45 employees in Detroit, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles organize air and sea freight shipments, along with local trucking. Emons Air & Sea in North America works closely with the German parent company Emons Air & Sea GmbH. Shipping of the goods is in the hands of professional freight forwarders on both continents. The service between the two companies is well networked across the time zones. Customers in both the USA and Europe benefit from the international structure of the company and thus save time and shipping costs.
